Jean Freeman

Jean Freeman brings 15 years of business development and organizational management experience to her role as majority owner and COO of Zambezi. She is a champion of women in leadership roles and has been working to see women soar up the ranks throughout the advertising community. In 2015 and 2016, Zambezi was named one of the largest women-owned businesses by the Los Angeles Business Journal and the publication recognized Jean at their 2016 Women’s Summit, which "celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of female leaders throughout Los Angeles." Before Zambezi, Jean worked at top agencies Fallon and M&C Saatchi as well as on staff at iconic brands Nike and Intel. A serial entrepreneur, Jean has launched three startups including Blue Sky, a planning and organizational products company. A wife and mother to two young children, Jean holds a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
