Prior to leading the creative department at SapientNitro China, Ray cut his teeth in some of the best agencies around the world, such as Wieden + Kennedy, JWT, TBWA and Fallon, curiously exploring new ways of storytelling and making experiences feel like magic.

Over the past 15 years, Ray has worked on both Chinese and regional  accounts, as varied as, Starbucks, Levi’s, Jeep, Adidas, Beats by Dre, McDonald’s, Volkswagen, MOMO (China’s Tinder), Nike, Heineken and Citibank in digital and traditional leadership roles. All the while bagging various advertising awards such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, The One Show, Spikes, Adfest and TheEffies.

Ray has also participated in many advertising award juries and presented/ lectured at prestigious industry events and schools such as; Spikes Asia, New York Festival, China Advertising Festival, Cannes Lions, Hong Kong Baptist University, HKPU and University of Gloucestershire.
