Nancy Vonk

Former Co-CCO, Ogilvy & Mather

Nancy Vonk co-founded Swim, a "creative leadership lab" in 2012 with partner Janet Kestin. They work with industries ranging from advertising to architecture. Swim’s unconventional approach to leadership training has been noted in Forbes and Fast Company.

Janet and Nancy were Co-Chief Creative Officers of Ogilvy & Mather Toronto from 1998 to 2011. They led their office to Cannes Grand Prix and other global recognition for work including Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty. They were included in Advertising Age magazine's 100 Most Influential Women in Advertising list of 2012.

Their HarperCollins book, Darling, You Can’t Do Both (And Other Noise To Ignore On Your Way Up), is described by Fast Company co-founder Alan Webber as "A guide to breaking the rules that stunt careers and wreak havoc at home. The how-to follow-up to Lean In." They speak regularly about female leadership at companies, schools and organizations like Facebook, Google, UCLA, Princeton, Catalyst and Women of Influence.
