Yahoo has handed extra responsibilities to two of its most senior marketers in Europe - Robert Bridge and Richard Blake.

Bridge, pictured right, previously led international consumer and B2B marketing for Yahoo everywhere outside the US. He has now been handed extra editorial responsibilities, making him vice president for international editorial and marketing at Yahoo.

Along with his marketing duties, Bridge leads the company’s editorial strategy across Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia and Canada. He also oversees research and insight in EMEA.

Bridge is responsible for delivering a mix of partner and user-generated content across Yahoo’s properties.

He has been with the company since 2010 holding a number of different marketing roles, and was formerly global marketing director at Phorm, the controversial contextual ad firm.

Richard Blake has become consumer marketing director for EMEA, leading the company’s consumer marketing in the region. He was formerly head of UK marketing.

A Yahoo spokeswoman confirmed the promotions.
