Leeds-based event management agency Xsem has appointed its first golf events manager to capitalise on growing demand for corporate golf experiences.

Neil Turley has spent the past five years directing golf operations at Gary Player’s signature courses on Bulgaria’s Black Sea Riviera. Turley will explore and develop new avenues for Xsem’s golf products, such as its US Masters experiences.

Co-owner and director at Xsem, Dan Bardgett, said: "The decision to invest further in golf operations with this newly-created role is one we see benefitting us and our clients in the long term. As well as Neil’s amazing experience at all levels of the game, we were blown away by his ideas on how we could explore new markets and expand our golf operations at Xsem."

Turley reached qualifying school for the European Tour in 1998 and also enjoyed a successful two-and-a-half years on the Challenger Tour, before injury led to him becoming head pro at St Sophia Golf Club
