Jeep is 75 years old in 2016 and amid the history-laden brand films and limited-edition models comes a curious stunt from Parasol Island.
The German agency created a limited-edition Mud Mask that city-dwellers can apply to their jeeps to hide that they have never been to the countryside. The 75 tins can be won by signing up on the brand’s website. Campaign did wonder if the work was a cheeky reference to Volvo’s LifePaint campaign, but was assured otherwise by Parasol’s creatives. Indeed, those at the agency say they were working on a similar idea to LifePaint (before the Volvo campaign was released) but rejected it and that was how Mud Mask came to life.
