It’s startling to think that one of David and Victoria Beckham’s children is old enough to star in an ad. What’s worse is that it’s not even their oldest child. Still, there’s a sense of inevitability about it – the Beckhams were hardly going to heed the advice of Noël Coward and keep their children off the stage, were they? After all, they are less a couple and more a brand. And the amount of press earned by the new Burberry spot – in which Romeo Beckham plays cupid to two models by passing gifts between them – suggests "brand Beckham" could soon become the Beckham dynasty. Could we be witnessing the ascension of the UK’s own Jaden Smith?
