Rumfest, the world's largest celebration of the diversity of rum, will move home to London's Olympia 2 this October for its fourth outing.

The event, which will showcase more than 400 rums for guests to sample and buy, has previously taken place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster.

From 16-17 October, visitors will be able to embark on a whistle-stop tour of the rums from around the world, take part in cocktail masterclasses and listen to live music in the Bacardi Dominoes and Daiquiri Zone.

Master blenders, distillers and world famous cocktail mixologists will be hosting seminars throughout the weekend.

"We are excited to be hosting such a vibrant event. Rumfest will allow guests to truly embrace the spirit of rum through music, seminars and sampling," said EC&O Venues commercial director Anna Golden.

Event reported in June how EC&O is to give Olympia a multi-million pound facelift as it prepares for the demise of sister venue Earls Court.

According to recent interim results from EC&O Venues owner Capital and Counties (Capco) posted on 3 August, "The planning process for the Earls Court site continues, and 2010 has seen positive progress to date."
