Wonderful Pistachios invites fans to help Ernie the Elephant destroy evidence

The animated mascot, voiced by WWE star John Cena, calls on gamers to find clues in sweepstakes push.

Ernie the Elephant, the star of Wonderful Pistachios campaign that debuted last fall, could use a little help the morning after a long night of partying. The Squirrel Sisters came over, and that's when things literally went nuts. Before Ernie knew it, he'd gotten a mouse tattoo and the SD card—packed with incriminating evidence—went missing from his camera. Wonderful Pistachios and its in-house agency created an interactive game inviting fans to help "Destroy Ernie’s Evidence." Visitors to HelpErnie.com can hunt for 20 clues hidden in his home and unscramble a text message from Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman for the chance to win prizes like a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Coachella tickets. A new game debuts every two weeks and can be played now through June 30, 2017.
