Why Nando's is turning to art and VR to inspire customers

Restaurant chain Nando's is opening a pop-up art gallery and hosting workshops focused on different art and craft styles.

Its branch in London's Notting Hill will be transformed into an art gallery to showcase art from five Southern African artists. Nando's will also serve some favourites from its menu, including peri-peri dishes, soft drinks and beers.

There will be also be guest appearances from the artists, workshops run by Creative Debuts on mosaics and macrame, as well a an opportunity to step into the artists’ studios in a VR experience. All art on display will be for sale, with a special 'Gallery' menu available.

The pop-up is taking place from the 13-15 July. Nando's hosted a similar experience last year at its Soho branch.
