Cadbury and Nickelodeon are serving up family fun this Bank Holiday weekend, while Jägermeister and Secret Cinema provide grown-ups an alternative to the chocolate madness.

Cadbury’s Egg Hunt fun

Cadbury is holding its annual egg hunt events at National Trust properties up and down the country. Agency RPM has developed a creative concept that enables different properties to personalise their experiences, by drawing on stories unique to their location. Attendees in Woolsthorpe will unearth facts about Sir Isaac Newton, while those in Stowe can wake a Sleeping Beauty. Last year the campaign saw more than 270,000 people take part.

SpongeBob Squarepants’ Laughter Party

Nickelodeon’s little yellow sponge starts his tour of Intu shopping centres around the UK this weekend. Kids on their Easter break can expect to enjoy various free activities, including a limbo challenge, treasure hunts and prank classes at all 15 Intu locations, including the Trafford Centre in Manchester and Lakeside in Essex. There is also a trip to Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach up for grabs.

Jägermeister’s German pop-up

For something adult-only, Jägermeister has teamed up with foodie favourite Brünch for a German-themed pop-up at the Palm 2 delicatessen in Clapton. Guests can eat and drink like real Berliners with schnitzel sharing platters and Jägermeister-themed cocktails. The five-course meal will be accompanied by the city’s other famous export, techno, played by a live DJ.

When: 24-25 March

Where: Palm 2, 6 Millfields Rd, London E5 0SB

Secret Cinema’s Concept X

The immersive theatre company is bringing its Secret Cinema X concept back for one night only over Easter. Details are scarce (it is secret after all) but we do know there will be 12 hours of fun involving an all-night DJ set and one of 2016’s hottest films.

Where: A mystery location in London
