Weber: winter warmer cooking courses

Barbecue brand Weber is launching a series of 'winter warmer' Grill Academy courses at Meat N16 in Stoke Newington.

Starting today (3 November), the hands-on cookery courses are aimed at barbecuers looking to expand their knowledge and will teach you how to grill, roast and bake a range of seasonal and festive dishes.

Over the four-hour course attendees will receive in-depth tuition on how to master a variety of warming winter dishes on the barbecue including Sunday roasts, soup and Christmas Turkey. Expert chefs will be on hand offering tips and cooking advice as well as showcasing Weber's "lid-on" barbecue technique.

Participants will also get practical and hands-on experience with both gas and charcoal barbecues as well as a range of top Weber accessories.

Some of the recipes participants will learn how to cook and enjoy include hot smoked salmon with potato rosti and herbed creme fraiche, fig and goats cheese flat bread and roast turkey with hasselback potatoes. Desserts will include sticky toffee pudding with cream and berries.

A further course will be held at Meat N16 in February next year while other courses will be hosted across a variety of locations in London over the coming months.

Earlier this year, craft beer provider Brewdog teamed up with Bodean's BBQ smokehouse restaurant for a series of dinners showcasing BBQ-style food and beer.
