Customers who stopped by a Sheetz location in Durham, North Carolina, got the surprise of a lifetime when they became contestants on an impromptu game show hosted by Wayne Brady. Contestants play Sheetz-themed games in the parking lot involving the convenience store’s new app. There’s "That’s a Big Sandwich," where they compete to order the heaviest sandwich on the app; "Sheetz-A-Go-Go," where they race through the store scanning items with the app; and "Climb the Rankz," where they climb and scan their way through the Sheetz loyalty levels from "Fan" to "Friend" to "Freak." Prizes include a year of free gas, Sheetz gift cards and a week-long vacation at the "Sheetz Shateau," a lakeside Airbnb filled with Sheetz snacks.
