Warburtons "the deliverers" by WCRS

Sylvester Stallone's ad for Warburtons, which broke on the weekend, is as silly as you'd expect.

Sylvester Stallone’s ad for Warburtons aired last weekend and it is as silly as you’d expect. The spot makes no apologies for its cheesiness as it mines Stallone’s back catalogue – in particular Rocky and The Expendables – for inspiration and Jonathan Warburton, the brand’s chairman, puts in a cameo that makes Richard Branson’s efforts for Virgin Media look Oscar-worthy. But the work, by WCRS, still has a winning charm and conveys the message that Warburtons delivers millions of loaves to stores every day. It was created by Andy Lee and Jonny Porthouse, and directed by Declan Lowney through Another Film Company.
