Walkers to reveal Gary Lineker's pants on digital screens if Leicester City wins the league

Walkers is scandalising the good people of Leicester, Manchester and London with the threat of Gary Lineker's near naked bod as the crisp brand cheers on hometown heroes Leicester City FC in its bid for Premier League glory.

The long-time Walkers ambassador promised to present Match of the Day in his pants if Leicester won the league - an achievement they can now wrap up at Old Trafford on Sunday by beating Manchester United, after title rivals Tottenham dropped points last night.

Walkers is now parading digital screens around the three cities, featuring a campaign created by AMV BBDO, that show Lineker covered in crisp packets - which will disappear in real time as Leicester accrue points.

The activity marks Walkers joining the Leicester Mercury’s and BBC Radio Leicester’s #backingtheblues campaign.

The mobile digital screens will centre around the Foxes’ stadium and Leicester city centre, and follow the away fans to Manchester and London for the club’s remaining two away games.

"Everyone at Walkers is incredibly proud of our Leicester heritage and we’re in full support of our local team," said Walkers marketing director Thomas Barkholt. "We wish the Foxes the best of luck."
