VR experience for Billy Corgan single wins Digital Craft Grand Prix

A VR music video created for "The Aeronaut", a track by Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan, has won the Grand Prix in the Digital Craft Lions for entrants Isobar and Viacom.

Three gold Lions were awarded: BBDO New York for Downtown Records, "Live looper", Here Be Dragons (Los Angeles) for Oculus, "Dispatch", and Ogilvy Brasil for Forbes Brasil, "Ricky Brasil".

There was only one winner from the UK: Lucky Generals, which jointly won a bronze with Amazon and Amazon D1 for their Alexa campaign, "Alexa loses her voice".

Ireland’s Rothco, part of Accenture Interactive, won a silver and a bronze for "JFK unsilenced" for The Times, which used digital audio technology to create a recording of the speech John F Kennedy was due to give when he was assassinated, read in his own voice.

Four US entrants won a silver Lion: Disney/Pixar, AKQA San Francisco, Eleven and PMK*BNC/The Void/ILMXLAB.
