FreemanXP has today (4 April) revealed it is working as Vodafone UK's lead creative agency, to activate the brand's 2016 sponsorship of Capital's Summertime Ball.

The appointment will see FreemanXP manage the various PR, media, digital and retail agencies involved in Vodafone's sponsorship of the event, which has recently been extended for another three years

It will also work alongside the brand to produce experiential activity and other forms of audience engagement around the Summertime Ball, including the Vodafone Future Breakers initiative, which sees the telecoms brand embark on a journey to uncover the UK's best unsigned talent.

Alex Conaway, head of brand development & advocacy, Vodafone UK said: "The Capital Summertime Ball with Vodafone is now in its fifth year and we see 2016 as the most exciting yet.

"FreemanXP’s thinking is in line with our own and we’re delighted they’re on board."

Jordan Waid, vice president brand experience, FreemanXP EMEA, added: "Vodafone is a fantastic brand with a rich history and story to be told. We are really excited to be working with them on this amazing event.

"We are applying our unique intersectional design thinking approach to create breakthrough experiences for the Summertime Ball audience and the Vodafone brand. It will be an event not to be missed!"
