Vital Farms uses humor to teach kids about ethically-produced foods

Students learn 'Where Honest Food Is Raised' during storytime in this Preacher ad.

Kids get a crash course in Vital Farms’ ethically-produced, pasture-raised foods in the new spot, "Good Story," by ad agency Preacher. A real Vital Farms employee asks a local librarian to share the company’s story with the class. Reading out loud from a picture book, the librarian debunks animal welfare claims of  "cage-free" food production. "A lot of those ‘cage-free’ hens are trapped inside like recess got canceled forever," she says, to the horror of the students. The message: Vital Farms works with family-run farms "so hens can do hen things outside all year long."
