Visit Seattle on Monday announced that it has selected Publicis Seattle to take over its advertising needs, following a competitive review.
Publicis Seattle, which takes over the role from Seattle agency Copacino+Fujikado in 2015, said it won the brief over two other contenders.
Publicis said its role will include capitalizing on planned improvements to the city’s waterfront and new convention facility as well golf’s 2015 U.S. Open Championship.
"We get to see Seattle’s greatness firsthand every day and feel it’s only fair that the rest of the world get to experience it, too," said Publicis Seattle Managing Director Jason Sullivan.
Other local clients for Publicis Seattle include Seabourn Cruise Line, KEXP, the Seattle Symphony and the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
