The ad, created by BBH, shows fans howling at the television, gloating to their friends and watching the game with rivals.
It also features a dancing peacock named Steve, howling wolves, two rival stags and a nervous ostrich.
The ad informs viewers that Virgin Media is the only provider that shows all televised football games on Sky Sports and BT Sport.
It was created by Matt Finch and Mark Lewis at BBH, with creative direction from Tom Drew and Uche Ezugwu. Johnny Burns and Pier van Tijn at Big Red Button, through Moxie, directed the ad.
The campaign will also run across out-of-home, social media, print, online, radio and mobile. Manning Gottlieb OMD handled the media planning.
Kerris Bright, the chief marketing officer at Virgin Media, said: "Football fans are passionate about watching their own teams, in their own way.
"With Virgin Media they can experience as much of the beautiful game as they like by enjoying every single televised game at home and on a range of connected devices. If the football is on, it’s on Virgin Media."
