Verizon inserts video game glitches into daily life

The campaign spotlights Verizon's 5G network, which promises a smooth experience for gamers.

Gamers know that glitches like lagging and texture stretching are a common, yet annoying, part of the experience. Verizon showed how disorientating glitches can be in its new spot, "The Reset," created with Madwell. Everyday moments turn into glitch nightmares as a child floats in the air next to her bicycle, a cat gets stuck in a telegraph pole, a car flies through the air and a person rides an invisible elevator to work. The spot ends as a character falls through a glitch hole in an office floor, starting the game of life all over again.
