Unilever's Dollar Shave Club creates hub for UK launch

Dollar Shave Club, the Unilever-owned male grooming subscription service, is creating a hub for people to try out its products as it marks its launch in the UK.

The three-day activation will feature a free shave, table football and a vintage jukebox.

Hoxton Radio will broadcast live from the "Dollar Shave Club hub" on one day, with comedy nights on other evenings.

The pop-up launches on 25 January at Old Street Station.

Unilever bought Dollar Shave Club for $1bn (£727m) in 2016, putting it head-to-head with Procter & Gamble's market-leading razor brand Gillette.
