The UK received four gold Film Lions at the final awards ceremony in Cannes this evening for work for Honda, Beats By Dre, Guinness and Ikea.

The four gold Film Lions won by UK agencies compare to one Grand Prix and one gold Lion in 2014, both won by Adam & Eve/DDB. Overall the UK got 18 Film Lions, which was equal to last year.

Mother’s "beds" spot for Ikea, which helped the wider campaign "the wonderful everyday" to win Campaign’s Campaign of the Year in 2014, picked up a gold Film Lion in the ceremony at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

Wieden & Kennedy’s "the other side" for Honda, which involved an interactive film that could switch between a family scene and an art heist, added a gold Film Lion to the gold and silver Cyber Lions it picked up earlier in the week.

R/GA London’s "the game before the game" for Beats as part of its marketing around the 2014 World Cup also claimed a gold Film Lion.

The Film Lions jury gave the final UK gold Lion to Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO’s "made of black" ad for Diaego’s Guinness.

Grands Prix were awarded to F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi São Paulo for "100" for Leica and The Martin Agency Richmond for "unskippable: family long form 01" for Geico.

The UK got eight silver Film Lions, including one each for AMV BBDO’s Christmas ad for Sainsbury’s, "1914 truce", previously known as "Christmas is for sharing", and Adam & Eve/DDB’s "Monty’s Christmas, previously known as "Monty the penguin", for John Lewis.

McGarrybowen and Wieden & Kennedy both picked up silver Lions in traditionally tricky product categories, getting awards for Finish ("dishes") and Weedol ("I’m weeding right now") respectively.

Channel 4 and its creative arm 4Creative got a silver Film Lion for its "prototype" promo starring the amputee pop star Viktoria Modesta, which was part of its "born risky" campaign and ran during the 2014 final of The X Factor.

The Film Lions jury also awarded silver Lions to "T-shirts" by Ikea, the 90-second version of "this girl can" by FCB Inferno, which also won a gold Glass Lion, and Don’t panic’s "Lego: everything is not awesome" for Greenpeace.

Bronze Film Lions went to Grey London for News UK and Mumsnet, CHI & Partners for The Prince’s Trust, AMV BBDO for the Department of Transport, Karmarama for the BBC and Saatchi & Saatchi for Procter & Gamble.
