UK brewer campaigns to save the pubs

"To the Pub" by Grey London comprises 50 films shot by the landlords of 50 public houses

Grey London has helped Greene King IPA create a campaign celebrating British pubs, which are closing at a rate of 29 per week.

There are 50 films, each set in a different pub. They were shot by the respective landlords after they were given cameras by Grey and the documentary-maker Paddy Wivell. Featured pubs include The Hawley Arms in Camden, London, and Nottingham’s Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, which is one of the oldest in the UK. The work broke online on a dedicated microsite, Tothepub.tv, and will air on TV later this month. It was written by Alex Tizard, art directed by Jonathan Rands and directed by Wivell through Just So.
