After offering people the chance to catch a ride in the Back To The Future DeLorean, and an online prank film, Uber has turned to more traditional advertising in the UK, releasing an outdoor poster campaign.
Bartle Bogle Hegarty created the ads, which feature drivers and riders explaining why they use the taxi app. Uber is also calling on drivers and riders to take selfies while using the service and then post them on social media. The outdoor campaign will run in London, Leeds, Manchester Newcastle and Liverpool. Arena Media handled the media planning and buying.
