Musician and TV personality plays both sides in ad for candy

The Twix candy bar line from Mars Inc. reintroduced its Peanut Butter line in a series of ads featuring Nick Lachey and created by BBDO New York.

The ads continue the premise that there is a difference between the left and right Twix candy bars. The ads imagine the two sides as competing for public favor.

Representatives from both the right and left side hire former 98 Degrees member Lachey to endorse their side. A "leaked video" shows the celebrity saying the left and right side are the same. He is then "fired" and quickly "re-hired" by both sides.
