TRO Spain will deliver experiential-focused events for brands including Nike, Telefonica, Swarovski, Real Madrid, Havaianas and Meetic.
Alberto Almar, managing director of TRO Spain, will head up both of the offices, and he will lead a 35-strong client services, creative and production team.
TRO opened its first Spanish office in Barcelona in January 2014.
Michael Wyrley-Birch, chief operating officer TRO EMEA, said: "We are increasingly receiving client briefs that require TRO to have expertise in multiple markets. We continue our strategy to expand our global agency model opening offices in local regions, while working as one agency unit with a consistent vision and culture, to ensure we are well-placed to respond to client requirements for regional contracts."
Almar added: "We are excited about the new team joining us in Madrid, and adding to our pool of fantastic talent, looking after some existing and new clients across Spain. We have a busy few months ahead with a number of pitches on the go, and some live projects for BBVA and Mahou-San Miguel."
