Trans-Pacific agency propels Air China toward North America

Beijing- and Los Angles-based McGann | Zhang wins Chinese airline account, debuts first ad

International agency McGann | Zhang has created an Air China an ad aimed at North Americans of Chinese and Filipino descent.

The airline took flight in 1988 and has made steady inroads abroad.

The first of two broadcast spots, focuses on abstract, "Koyaanisqatsi"-esque images with overlaid type, ending with a message that Air China is the only Chinese airline serving all six continents.

The Beijing- and Los Angeles-based agency will deliver further creative focusing on the brand's voice.
