Breakfast Briefing: latest event focuses on China

Campaign event will examine digital marketing trends, consumer habits and ecommerce in China.

How international brands can prosper in China is the subject of Campaign’s next Breakfast Briefing event in association with The Trade Desk.

Claire Beale, global editor-in-chief of Campaign, will chair "When East meets West: the China opportunity for brands", which takes place at the Regent Street Cinema in London on 7 May.

The event will tackle key themes including digital marketing trends, changing consumer habits and the outlook for ecommerce in China – one of the world's fastest-growing and most important advertising markets.

Speakers include Anna Forbes, UK general manager of The Trade Desk; Fred Hu, director of sales, marketing and operations, at Tencent Interactive Entertainment Group; and Zia Zareem-Slade, customer experience director of Fortnum & Mason.

Other speakers with Chinese expertise include Alvin Foo, managing director of Reprise Digital (part of IPG Mediabrands), and Milo Chao, chief strategy officer, Asia-Pacific, at GTB, WPP’s specialist agency for Ford.

Campaign is hosting this Breakfast Briefing in association with The Trade Desk, a demand-side platform that offers agencies, aggregators and advertisers technology to manage display, social, mobile and video advertising campaigns.

It is the latest in a series of Campaign breakfast events on subjects including in-housing and brand versus performance in both London and New York.
