Total Wireless rolls out super-stroller to mock cell-phone excess

Tongue-in-cheek campaign compares a ridiculous stroller with elaborate cell phone plans

Earlier this summer, TracFone Wireless Inc. company Total Wireless targeted families with a spot by The Martin Agency featuring a dad and his baby. The real star of the ad was a souped-up stroller.

The stroller, Latot, is a stand-in for phone plans with all kinds of bells and whistles that most people don't need. A supporting website latotstroller.com and web film for the over-the-top toddler accessory elaborates on the frivolous features.

Featuring a baritone narration similar to too many car commercials, the voiceover explains the refrigerator and custom sandcastles that are selling points of the stroller.
