Aldi has wrested the top spot from Iceland this week. Its comical ad has all the ingredients for success, chocolate, a relaxing bath and a good old Welsh accent from the likeable Jan Anderson (Human Traffic). Aldi stole the show with almost 20% more recalls than McDonald's which came in second place at 35%. The mockumentary-style ad by McDonalds showcasing its recently announced winning burgers from the my burger contest shows an interview with an unimpressed 'loser' of its contest explaining why he thought he lost. In third place is 3's Apple ad with 33% recall rates showing off a fitness tracking app which works with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
