Ticket agent The Ticket Factory has recruited Kate Webb as marketing director.

Webb replaces former marketing director Gail Webb, who took up the post of marketing director at The Belfry this month.

Reporting directly to The Ticket Factory managing director, Stuart Cain, Webb will be responsible for driving the sale of tickets through digital marketing and e-commerce solutions, as well as taking the lead on the customer journey and CRM strategies.

Webb, who has previously worked at Codemasters, Vision Express and the Volvo Group, specialises in digital marketing and analytics.

She said: "I’m really looking forward to the challenges ahead with The Ticket Factory. One of my initial priorities will be improving the strategy behind our customer communications. I want to really delve into our customer database, using segmentation to improve our targeting and build on conversion rates from marketing to point-of-sale.

"I look forward to being part of such an exciting organisation where the use of technology plays a key role in developing customer relationships and driving sales."

Cain added: "Kate is a valuable asset to the team, her experience in the digital retail world is already proving invaluable in shaping our strategy and future plans for growth."
