Tour de France, Krug's fish and chip pop-up and Jacob's Gourmet Snacktail Bar are three major events to watch this week.

Krug & Chips, 8-12 July

Champagne brand Krug has partnered with chef Tom Sellers to devise Krug & Chips, a pop-up restaurant themed around British chippies. The dining experience will open in the East Piazza of Covent Garden on Wednesday (8 July) for five days.

Tour de France, 4-26 July

The 102nd edition of cycling's most prestigious three-week race, the Tour de France, will kick off in Urecht, Holland this weekend, with 198 riders from 22 teams competing. Expect plenty of experiential activity from the event's partners, including title sponsor, Skoda. Last year, UKTV channel Dave and communications agency Initials organised a comedic stunt in the capital, which saw nine 'lost' cyclists ask Londoners for directions to the Tour de France.

Jacob's cocktail bar

The Jacob’s Gourmet Snacktail Bar will open in London’s Soho for two days on Thursday (9 July), serving each visitor three free savoury cocktails. The ‘Snacktails’ have been designed to accompany the brand’s new Cracker Crisps range. Last year, the brand opened a savoury ice cream parlour.
