Teva "Hairspray" and "Best foot forward" by VCCP

Pharmaceutical brand Teva gets all kinds of emotional to promote the extra-mile efforts of carers.

Beginning in a hair academy, "Hairspray" shows an elderly man’s efforts as he learns to style hair among a wave of trendy young professionals. The hair novice soon masters styling, before bringing his newly honed skill home to look after his partner.

Likewise, "Best foot forward" follows a young carer who learns to dance. After a montage of rehearsals and missed steps, the woman walks through a hospital where it is revealed she is dancing in order to "make her dad smile".

The ads were written by Jay Coombes, art directed by Katie Dean and directed by John Turner through VCCP Kin.
