Supermarket giant Tesco will launch a pop-up wine bar in London's Soho this summer as a way of showcasing the quality of its wine range.

Located at 147 Wardour Street, the bar will be open from 2-13 August, offering samples of the supermarket’s entire list of 70 Tesco Finest wines by the glass, as well as serving a series of ‘wine flights’, comprising three glasses for wine lovers to unearth a new favourite variety.

Experts, wine buyers and Tesco’s very own master of wine James Davis, will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice on how to pick the right wines.

Entry to the pop-up will be free and no bookings will be necessary, with spaces allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Elisabetta Farroni, senior brand manager at Tesco, said: "Showcasing the range through a pop-up wine bar is the perfect way to demonstrate the high quality of our wines directly to the public."
