TBWA\London has hired Amelia Torode from The Good Relations Group as its new chief strategy officer, completing the agency's management line-up.

Torode joins the chairman and chief creative officer, Peter Souter, and the chief executive, Richard Stainer. She replaces Adam Stagliano, who will now focus on international clients and on championing the agency’s "disruption" positioning around the network.

As the head of strategy and innovation at VCCP, Torode created real-time strategies for brands including Comparethemarket.com, O2 and London 2012. Torode then moved to VCCP’s sister PR and branding agency, Good Relations, where she steered digital strategy and innovation.

Stainer, who joined TBWA from Bartle Bogle Hegarty at the beginning of the year, described Torode as "a truly extraordinary talent, with an exceptional record in strategy, planning and digital innovation".

Torode added: "This feels like a new chapter in the TBWA story. I’m thrilled to be working with Peter and Rich; it’s an exciting meeting of minds and ambitions."
