Event has collated statistics on brand activations, attendance and audience demographics from SXSW 2017.

South by Southwest, the annual gathering of film, interactive media, music festivals and conferences, took place from 10-19 March in Austin, Texas. Event has created the infographic below detailing attendance figures and audience demographics, as well as results from brand activations from National Geographic's Nat Geo channel, Amazon Prime and Bud Light.

This year Bud Light collaborated with musical act The Roots & Friends to bring 'Jam Sessions' to SXSW in a bid to celebrate friendship and collaboration. Amazon Prime staged a 'secret radio' takeover, while National Geographic's Nat Geo channel created an interactive hub, titled 'Nat Geo Further Base Camp', which featured augmented reality to promote the channel's new series 'Genius'.
