Supermarkets slash prices on toy ranges ahead of Christmas

LONDON - Supermarkets are slashing the prices of Christmas toys to entice parents to spend.

Tesco has halved the price of hundreds of gifts in its Christmas toy range.

Asda has also made price cuts on its toy range, which it claims will save UK customers more than £6 million.

The supermarket added that it had sold more than 6,000 of its doll houses since cutting their price on Saturday.

According to Asda research, 35% of parents are worried about the cost of Christmas this year.
