SunTrust Banks reminds consumers to take a step back and stop worrying about their financial burdens in their first national Super Bowl ad, "Hold Your Breath."
A preview of the 30-second commercial shows people taking deep, calming breaths to help relieve them of the stresses caused by money strains. The spot is part of SunTrust’s "Onward and Upward," or "onUp," movement, which aims to help reduce financial stress. This in turn will let consumers focus on more important moments in their lives - like a wedding, as the preview shows.
"Our company purpose is Lighting the Way to Financial Well-Being, so we are starting a national conversation to motivate people to take action," said SunTrust Chairman and CEO William H. Rogers, Jr. in a statement. "We're providing the tools and information to help them gain control over their finances."
The full ad, created by SunTrust’s AOR StrawberryFrog, will air toward the end of Super Bowl 50, during the two-minute warning commercial break in the fourth quarter.
