Customers will be offered the chance to register with Match.com for free, using the store’s free Wi-Fi.
Starbucks will also celebrate Valentine’s Day by offering customers a buy one, get one free offer on its triple hot chocolate drink on February 13 and 14.
Ian Cranna, vice president of marketing and category at Starbucks EMEA, said: "It’s a natural fit – Match.com are the experts at bringing people together, and for more than 40 years, Starbucks has been a place where people connect over a great cup of coffee. We’ve seen first dates, proposals, weddings, birthdays and reunions – and now, we’ll be able to bring even more people together."
Its match-making intentions comes after Starbucks revealed last month that its customers would be able charge their smartphones wirelessly across a number of its London stores, as part of a flurry of tech innovations it's set to introduce this year. Customers can recharge their devices for free.
