Organization rolls out a PSA on the dangers of impaired driving
So far 23 states have legalized marijuana in some form, which means there needs to be a serious discussion on the dangers of driving while impaired. As organization We Save Lives' founder Candace Lightner said, "It is past time when Congress treats drugged driving as seriously as it does drunk driving."
We Save Lives partnered with Bravo/Y&R and headed to World Cannabis Week in Denver, Colorado last month for a project called Weed Advisor on this message.
Weed Advisor consists of special rolling papers that when sealed show two cars on a collision course — reminding those who partake the drug not to get behind the wheel.
Two thousand packs of rolling papers were distributed to two dozen stores and attendees at the event.
