Johnsonville employees tell the tale of their new meat-focused mascot, Carl
Employees of the sausage company Johnsonville create a communal story about a modern folk hero in a new campaign from Droga5. "Carl" the Great Bratsgiver speeds about on his motorcycle delivering grilled sausages to good boys and girls (and probably putting poor Abe Froman out of business). A three-minute ad details Carl’s other amazing abilities, as made up on the spot by Johnsonville employees. On National Bratwurst Day (August 16, apparently), the company held the first annual Bratsgiving at a YMCA in Kansas City, MO, giving away free sausages, as well as a donation for kitchen renovations at the facility.
