Samsung is currently challenging consumers to win a new Galaxy S7 by tracking down couriers in cities throughout the UK.

A number of brand ambassadors have been given a version of the new phone and another boxed model. They have been tasked by Samsung to journey around their city on different modes of transport - including rollerblades and bicycles - and broadcast their journey live on Periscope.

Consumers have been encouraged to follow the live channel online to work out the whereabouts of the prize in real time. The first to track down the courier and shout: "Galaxy S7 is here" will win the phone.

The hunt began in Glasgow at 11am and has so far also visited Edinburgh, Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool and Birmingham. It will conclude in London this evening (10 March). Those not living in the seven cities will also be able to hunt down one extra Galaxy S7 on the campaign’s microsite using Google Streetview.

Agency Cheil is working with Samsung on the activity.
