Royal Caribbean calls UK creative contest

Royal Caribbean International is reviewing its estimated £6 million UK advertising account. The company has begun contacting agencies and Creativebrief is handling the process. Chemistry meetings will take place next week.

J Walter Thompson London is the incumbent on the UK business, while the New York office holds the global account.

Jo Briody, Royal Caribbean’s director of PR and marketing, said: "We’ve asked Creativebrief to help us meet agencies that could add value to our thinking around brand strategy in the UK and Ireland. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible and we want all aspects of our brand to continue to communicate this."

JWT is not repitching for the UK business but will retain the global account.
