Automotive brand Rolls-Royce has partnered with The Institute of Imagination to stage 'lab live: reality', which invites guests to explore what reality really means.

The event will take place on 1 May, and guests will get to experience a 'supersonic' car, as well as getting to test out the latest in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology, explore the aerodynamics of materials and learn how to design and print 3D objects.

The supersonic car - also known as the Bloodhound SSC - is one of the fastest cars on earth, and visitors will be able to try their hand at creating their own model in a 'connect challenge'. Other activities will include experimenting with drones, testing out 3D aided design and experiencing interactive VR technology.

Guests will also be able to immerse themselves in new worlds with Google Expeditions programme. They will be able to explore the surface of Mars, visit the International Space Station or submerge yourself in the beautiful underworld of coral reefs.

In October, Rolls-Royce launched its first ever 'Rolls-Royce Boutique' experiential showroom in Dubai. The brand also released a film and events series last year, which aimed to engage fans.
