QVC, the home-shopping network, is set to launch a review of its global media planning and buying business.

QVC, which previously worked with Zimmerman in the US for advertising and media, made contact with agencies last month. Agencies have been told a pitch will take place at a later date yet to be confirmed. The review is being held at a holding company level.

Meanwhile, media shops on the UK government roster are being invited to pitch for the DWP's media planning business. The brief is for shops on the government’s roster which includes Manning Gottlieb OMD, MEC and MediaCom.

The Natural History Museum is set to hold a pitch for an upcoming project later this year. Krow Communications, the incumbent, is not repitching.

Pitch Update: Keep up-to-date with Mars' global media review, Mission Foods' ad agency review, plus UK media reviews for Ikea and Scottish Power.
