KBS hopes consumers will equate the regrettable hair trend with carb overload
Man buns have become a cultural whipping boy. Whether ponybun, full, undercut or taper, we love to hate them. Fast casual burger joint Red Robin is joining in with its new #LoseTheBun campaign by KBS. The 45-second digital spot debuted this week promoting the brand’s bunless "Wedgie" burgers that swap the bread for iceberg lettuce leaves. Initially available on the Avocado Chicken Burger, Red Robin is expanding the option to all of its burgers. The campaign also includes social media support and gifs.
