Publicis London has bolstered its strategy department with the recruitment of a quartet of senior hires from agencies including Ogilvy, The & Partnership and Mullen Lowe.

Tara Austin has joined the agency as behavioural strategy director, while Paulina Goodwin, Charlotte Stone and James Dawkins become strategy directors.

Each will report to Publicis London’s chief strategy officer Dom Boyd, who himself joined the agency last year from Adam&Eve/DDB.

Austin joins from the management team of behavioural interventions agency, Ogilvy Change; former Amnesty International digital marketer Goodwin arrives from The & Partnership London; ex-Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO strategist Stone ends a two-year stint as a freelancer; while Dawkins joins from Mullen Lowe, having previously worked at Havas Worldwide and McCann Manchester.

Boyd commented: "I’m dead excited these new brains are joining the gang. Not only are they super smart, by combining behavioural insight with data science algorithms we’re creating something genuinely innovative and exciting that gives us an edge in the new era of digitally-fuelled creativity."

Earlier this month, the agency announced that Karen Buchanan was leaving her role as chairman of Publicis London and chief client development officer across Publicis UK.

Buchanan, who joined Publicis London as chief executive in 2011 from The Red Brick Road, is leaving the agency at the end of the month.
