Publicis Groupe has formed a combined team of people from Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis Worldwide, Publicis Media, and MSL following its win of the consolidated Procter & Gamble UK media account.

The team will be based out of Saatchi & Saatchi London's office in Chancery Lane, which is also a campus for the "interdependent model" Publicis Groupe launched with its strategic restructure at the end of 2015

Led by Carol Miller-Repetto, chief operating officer of Saatchi & Saatchi's P&G group, the newly-formed team will work on a list of brands that includes Pampers, Head & Shoulders, Aussie, Ariel, Daz, Fairy, Oral-B, Flash, Vicks and Tampax.

A spokeswoman for Publicis Groupe said P&G was clear that it wanted a more simplified agency model to provide more consistency for brands and strengthen agency-client relationships.

The new team will follow the Groupe's'interdependent model in which each account in the co-located team will continue to be led by the agency brands which currently hold the business. Miller-Repetto will oversee the newly co-located operation.

This move should not result in any layoffs as the consolidation with Publicis Media has resulted in an expansion of each P&G account, the spokeswoman added.
