With American Apparel having yet another advert banned for using underage-looking models, Marketing took to the streets to see what the public thought of the ad.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banned the advert this week as they deemed it "irresponsible" and "likely to cause offence" for being sexually inappropriate because the model used looked under the required age.

According to American Apparel, the model was 20 years old. It also said the image was consistent with similar ads.

In 2014, the American clothing brand had a ‘Back-to-School’ campaign banned for similar reasons.
